Version 1.1 · Last updated: September 07, 2026
This page summarizes principal Work-A-Beez feature areas without treating roadmap items as released functionality. Exact availability depends on subscription, organization configuration, product version, and client release.
Organization administrators can maintain workforce records supported by the Service, including employee identity/contact information, employee codes, departments, job information, employment status, rates and related settings. Bulk onboarding/import functionality may be available through supported workflows.
Work-A-Beez records clock-in and clock-out activity and calculates worked time for review and reporting. Customers remain responsible for configuring lawful policies, reviewing exceptions, and verifying records before relying on them for payroll or employment decisions.
Customers can authorize workplace devices for supported time-clock workflows. Work-A-Beez stores trusted-device authorization tokens in hashed form. Device controls supplement, but do not replace, the Customer's physical and endpoint security.
The platform supports creation and management of employee work schedules and related schedule information. The specific scheduling tools, views, notifications, and employee actions available depend on the deployed version and plan.
Where enabled, employees can submit time-off requests and administrators can review related information and decisions. Customers are responsible for defining lawful leave policies and ensuring that product configuration matches applicable law and organizational policy.
Administrators can review attendance-related records, time entries, and exceptions supported by the current platform. Work-A-Beez can assist with recordkeeping but does not determine legal compliance, employee discipline, or the correctness of a Customer's wage-and-hour policy.
Work-A-Beez can generate time and labor information intended to support Customer payroll workflows. It does not independently process employee payroll, file payroll taxes, determine worker classification, or guarantee that a Customer's payroll is legally correct. Customers must review outputs before processing compensation.
The platform provides administrative dashboards and reports for supported workforce data. Report availability and fields vary by product version and plan. Customers with a mandatory regulatory report or export format should verify that requirement before relying on the Service.
Current administrative functions include organization/account settings and supported management of employees, departments, workplace devices, workforce records, schedules, time-off data, reporting, and subscription information. The product does not currently expose every enterprise HR role or arbitrary custom RBAC role described in older documentation.
Employees can use the access methods made available for their organization and released client version. Browser-based access is part of the cloud service. Mobile-client functionality may be available through supported distribution channels and may differ from browser functionality as releases evolve.
Work-A-Beez may deliver supported operational notifications through in-application messages, email, or mobile push notifications. Delivery depends on organization configuration, user/device settings, network availability, and third-party delivery providers.
Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. Customers can access subscription-related functions made available by their plan and account. Full payment-card numbers and CVV values are processed by Stripe rather than intentionally stored by Work-A-Beez.
Not generally available today: customer-facing MFA, SAML/OIDC SSO, customer-managed encryption keys/BYOK, dedicated databases per customer, and customer-selected hosting regions.
The Service uses selected third-party integrations needed to operate current functionality, including Stripe, transactional email, Microsoft-related reporting/integration functions where configured, and mobile push notification delivery. Customers should not assume that a public REST API, arbitrary identity-provider integration, or a specific payroll/accounting connector is available unless it is documented for their product version.
Work-A-Beez does not currently represent that it uses autonomous AI to make hiring, firing, discipline, compensation, scheduling, or other high-impact employment decisions on behalf of Customers. Future AI or automation features, if released, may require additional product, privacy, and governance documentation.
Features under consideration may include stronger identity controls, additional integrations, reporting, analytics, automation, AI-assisted functions, and other workforce capabilities. Roadmap items are subject to change and are not commitments unless expressly included in a signed agreement.
If a Customer's procurement, security, legal, or regulatory decision depends on a particular feature, the Customer should verify the capability in its account or obtain written confirmation from LBS before relying on it.
