Work-A-Beez Password Policy

Work-A-Beez requires a password of at least 8 characters for every account (organization administrator and employee accounts alike). Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are hashed before being saved.

Stronger complexity rules (such as required uppercase, lowercase, number, and special-character combinations), password expiration, password-reuse prevention, and account lockout after repeated failed attempts are being evaluated for a future release and are not enforced today.

Best Practices

Regardless of what the platform currently enforces, we recommend that every user:

• Use a unique password for Work-A-Beez that is not reused on other sites.
• Choose a longer password over a shorter, more complex one.
• Use a password manager where possible.
• Avoid sharing your password with anyone, including coworkers or administrators.
• Sign out when using a shared or public computer.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a planned enhancement to Work-A-Beez account security and is not yet available.
