Work-A-Beez is a cloud-based workforce-management platform operated by Linton Business Solutions, LLC. It is designed to help organizations record employee time, manage workforce records and schedules, administer time-off workflows, and prepare payroll-related reports from a centralized system.
Feature availability can vary by subscription, configuration, released client version, and product rollout. This overview describes the principal product areas and should not be read as a promise that every listed capability is enabled for every account.
Work-A-Beez includes controls for authorizing workplace devices used for time-clock access. Device authorization is intended to help Customers limit use to devices they approve. Device authorization tokens are stored in hashed form. Customers remain responsible for physical control and security of their devices.
Organization administrators can manage supported employee records, departments, schedules, time/PTO information, reporting settings, workplace devices, and subscription/account functions. The exact administrative menu and available actions depend on the current product version and subscribed plan.
Employees can access the workforce functions made available by their organization and released client version, such as time-clock functions, schedules, time-off information, messages/notifications, and related self-service features where enabled.
Work-A-Beez is delivered primarily as a cloud service. Browser access is supported, and mobile-client functionality may be distributed through supported mobile channels as releases become available. Customers should rely on the current application, app-store listing, and support documentation for the exact capabilities of a particular released client.
The Service may use in-application, email, and mobile push notifications for operational messages supported by the configured product. Transactional email and push delivery depend on third-party providers and Customer/device settings.
Subscription billing is processed through Stripe. Work-A-Beez is designed not to receive or store full payment-card numbers or CVV values. Subscription features and pricing are governed by the applicable plan, Pricing page, Terms of Service, and any signed Order Form.
Work-A-Beez uses or supports selected service integrations required for platform operation, such as payment processing, transactional email, Microsoft-related reporting/integration functions where configured, and mobile notification delivery. The existence of internal or provider integrations does not mean that a general public API, arbitrary payroll integration, SAML/OIDC SSO, or every third-party connector is available to Customers.
Current security controls include HTTPS/TLS, production browser/session protections, CSRF protection, selected rate limiting, one-way hashing of administrator passwords and employee PINs, hashed trusted-device tokens, organization-scoped authorization, logical multi-tenant isolation, environment-managed secrets, selected audit/security logging, and managed cloud/database protections.
Current limitation: customer-facing MFA and SAML/OIDC single sign-on are not generally available today. Work-A-Beez also does not currently represent that it offers BYOK/customer-managed encryption keys, a dedicated database per tenant, or a customer-selected hosting region.
See the Enterprise Security Overview and Security Controls Summary for current security due-diligence information.
Customers own and control their workforce data subject to the Terms of Service and DPA. Work-A-Beez provides software functionality and does not act as the Customer's employer, payroll processor, accountant, tax advisor, HR consultant, or legal counsel. Customers are responsible for their employment practices, payroll review, wage-and-hour configuration, employee notices/consents, data-retention rules, and other legal obligations.
LBS may develop additional security, analytics, integration, automation, AI, identity, reporting, and workforce features. Roadmap references are planning statements only. Features may change, be delayed, be limited to particular plans, or not be released. A roadmap statement is not a contractual commitment unless expressly included in a signed agreement.
Product capabilities evolve. For a purchasing or compliance decision that depends on a specific feature, obtain written confirmation from LBS or verify the feature in the Customer's deployed account.
