Work-A-Beez Employee User Guide

Version 1.1 · Last updated: September 07, 2026

This guide is for employees and workforce users whose organization uses Work-A-Beez. The exact screens and features available to you depend on your employer's configuration, subscription, and the released web or mobile client you are using.

Accessing Work-A-Beez

Your employer or organization administrator determines how you access Work-A-Beez. Depending on the workflow made available to your organization, you may use a workplace time-clock/PIN flow, browser access, or a supported mobile client.

Do not share your PIN, password, device access, or other login credential with another employee. If you believe a credential has been exposed, tell your employer/administrator promptly.

Time clock

Use the clock-in and clock-out functions provided by your employer to record your work time. Before leaving the time-clock workflow, confirm that the displayed status reflects the action you intended.

If you miss a punch or believe a time entry is incorrect, follow your employer's correction process. Do not create false or duplicate entries to try to correct a record yourself unless your employer specifically instructs you to do so.

Authorized workplace devices

Your employer may restrict time-clock use to workplace devices it has authorized. If a device is not approved, damaged, replaced, or unavailable, contact your supervisor or organization administrator rather than attempting to bypass device controls.

Schedules

Where scheduling is enabled, you can view schedule information made available to you by your employer. Always follow your employer's process for reporting a schedule error, requesting a change, or confirming whether a shift change has been approved.

PTO and time-off

Where enabled, you may submit time-off requests and review related information through Work-A-Beez. A request shown in the system does not by itself mean leave is approved unless the status or your employer confirms approval.

Questions about leave entitlement, protected leave, accommodations, balances, or employer policy should be directed to your employer. Work-A-Beez does not make legal or HR determinations about your leave rights.

Hours and payroll-related information

Work-A-Beez may display hours or payroll-related records based on your employer's data and configuration. Work-A-Beez is not your employer and does not issue your wages. If you believe your hours, rate, deductions, or pay are incorrect, contact your employer promptly using its payroll or HR process.

Profile information

You may be able to view or update certain profile information, depending on your organization's configuration. Some information can only be changed by an administrator. Keep your permitted contact information current and report incorrect employment information to your employer.

Notifications

Work-A-Beez may provide in-application, email, or mobile push notifications for supported events. Notification delivery can be delayed or blocked by device settings, email filtering, network availability, or third-party delivery providers. Do not rely on a notification alone when your employer requires a separate confirmation process.

Mobile use

Mobile-client capabilities may differ from the browser experience and may change as releases are distributed. Use only official Work-A-Beez client software or links provided by your employer or LBS. Keep your device operating system and application version reasonably current.

Account security

Current limitation: customer-facing multi-factor authentication (MFA) is not generally available today. Do not expect an MFA enrollment or verification-code workflow unless LBS has specifically released and documented it for your environment.

Privacy

Your employer generally determines what workforce information is entered into Work-A-Beez and how it is used for employment purposes. Questions or requests concerning employer-controlled workforce records should normally be directed to your employer or organization administrator first.

If the mobile client provides a deletion-request option, that request may be routed to your employer/administrator because the employer generally controls the workforce data. LBS may respond directly where required by applicable law.

What Work-A-Beez does not decide

Work-A-Beez does not decide whether you are entitled to overtime, leave, a particular schedule, a pay adjustment, discipline, an accommodation, or another employment right. Those matters are controlled by your employer and applicable law.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot access a feature:

  1. confirm you are using the access method approved by your employer;
  2. check your internet/network connection;
  3. confirm the browser/app is reasonably current;
  4. confirm the workplace device is authorized if device restrictions apply;
  5. contact your supervisor or organization administrator.

For platform-level support that your employer cannot resolve, contact info@lbsconnect.net. Do not email your password, PIN, full payment-card information, or unnecessary sensitive employee information.

Feature availability

Older documentation may mention features that are planned, limited, or not released. Unless a feature is visible in the current product or confirmed by your employer/LBS, do not assume that shift marketplaces, custom employee roles, public API access, MFA, SSO, biometric authentication, or other roadmap capabilities are available.
